You don't have to worry about accommodations when traveling to Key West. You'll never want to leave! Located in United States, Key West is a well-known and vibrant city.Įvery day, travelers worldwide arrive at Key West International Airport to start their vacations and business trips in Key West. Key West is a city with tons of tourist attractions. On, it's easy to search for hotels in Key West. But you need to know what you are actually purchasing here. If you know what you're getting and don't mind getting it, it's a fine place and a heck of a lot more affordable than the rest of Key West. It was a very nice place, but the surprise of finding out I'm in a communal room gave a sour first impression. That throws the whole thing off from the start. But I don't want to be surprised by it when I arrive. And this place is probably the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. Look, I've stayed in numerous hostels and shared rooms with plenty of people. This is not your average hotel because it's not a hotel: it's a hostel. And my brain said, ”My what?!” What I had actually purchased was a bunk bed in a room. So, during check in, I was told that my keycard opened by room and my locker. I needed a place to crash after meeting friends, so I didn't much care what the beds were like. ![]() I booked a ”room with bunk beds” through some travel website or another. But hey, it's Key West, they march to a different drum. Over all 4 stars, had parking been free and they honored the price we were expecting to pay on arrival, they'd get 5 stars. Also included is a happy hour from 5-7 in the lobby with wine and individually wrapped snacks. The dining area was clean, well maintained and central A/C. The included continental breakfast was sufficient, juices, coffee, waffle maker, bagels, fruit, cereals. Even showing the confirmation email to the desk attendant made no matter. What we were actually charged was $118.09. When I booked the room the confirmation email said that upon arrival we would be charged $74.97. ![]() Only drawback was the constant drone of window unit A/C that barely kept the room cool. Comfortable bed and a fridge in the room. The room was clean and simple, no maid service, you had to go to the desk and ask for towels, soap etc. Since we frequent the area often,we knew where to street park w/o meters, just 2 blocks away. Options were to park at meters at $5/HOUR, or to find rare non metered street parking. They have what appeared to be 6 spots at $25/night, and 20 spots at a lot nearby at $20/night. We rent bikes on arrival and keep the car parked. (we live in Fort Lauderdale, so it's a nice getaway that is a short drive) Our preference is to stay at guest houses on the east end of the island, rather than staying in the busier east end. We checked Ctrip on the spot and ordered it online immediately. And when we arrived at the hotel, we directly asked for the price of a twin room at $300 per night. Across the road from the hotel is a big supermarket and fast food restaurant, pizza hut, and discount clothing store Ross is super convenient for shopping. Parking in front of the room is convenient. The hotel has a swimming pool with parrots and sea turtles. The lobster set for lunch is dazzling, enough for four adults for $198. The breakfast is relatively simple but not bad. There is no problem for one bed for one adult and one baby. The room is just going out to enjoy the beach, the white sand and fine waves hammock, it is wonderful, and there are a group of long-billed birds taking a leisurely stroll, and immediately decided to stay for another day. Super awesome hotel, in the north of Key West Island, about ten minutes' drive from the main port area and attractions area of Malloey Square. ![]()
